TEC Partners are pleased to be working with a well-funded point of care diagnostics business who are addressing molecular diagnostics and the impact on how infectious disease are managed at a point of care.


Senior Development Scientist
As the Senior Development Scientist you will be afforded the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team.

You will be responsible for developing high quality reagent systems and for evaluating and improving the performance of their diagnostic technologies,to bring together new components, reagents, and workflows for assessment.

This is a collaboratively role where apart from executing your experiments you will be supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.


Senior Development ScientistRequirements

  • PhD in biomedical engineering, molecular biology or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 4 years of industrial experience
  • Firsthand experience in molecular biology techniques including qRTPCR
  • Proven experience of managing or leading small projects
  • Strong technical and practical knowledge of reagent and or assay optimisation
  • Experience working under a QMS
  • Familiarity with ISO13485
