Our client is looking for someone to join their growing commercial team as an Estimator, presenting an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging fit-out projects.     Position Details:

    • Coordinate and schedule site inspections/surveys efficiently.
    • Prepare and dispatch sub-contract enquiries and evaluate quotations upon receipt.
    • Foster and nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Compile tender submissions, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with Senior Estimator, Commercial Manager, and Sales Lead for review.
    • Scrutinize tender documents to ascertain adequacy of information and issue RFIs as needed.
    • Ensure timely submission of tenders and diligent follow-up.
    • Manage post-tender queries, negotiations, and analysis.
    • Facilitate smooth handover to project team upon successful tender acceptance.
    • Participate in post-completion wash-up meetings with project team.
    • Collaborate with Sales Lead on Design & Build (D&B) projects.
    • Create comprehensive and accurate scopes of work for pricing.
    • Liaise with sub-contractors to refine and confirm scopes of work.
    • Maintain up-to-date databases of sub-contractors and suppliers.

    About You: In addition to the above, it is highly beneficial if you possess the following:

    • Proven experience in construction and/or fit-out estimating with the ability to read and understand drawings.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes.
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines and multi-task.
    • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Project.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Dedicated, well-organized, and reliable with great attention to detail.
