Car parking available**We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Head Chef to join an established brigade of talented chefs, at this beautiful café/restaurant on the outskirts of Southend.

The Venue:

This popular café is set in a small picturesque village on the beautiful Essex coast, and attracts a large customer base to enjoy the traditional seasonal menu with modern British influences.

The Role:

Our client is looking for a hardworking Head Chef with a strong kitchen background in a similar establishment, working with fresh food in a busy environment, who is looking for the opportunity to make an impact within the team.

You will be working in a small kitchen brigade of 2 chefs, you will have good all round kitchen experience, be confident in training junior members of staff and creative in menu design.

As Head Chef, you will ensure the food is produced to a consistently high standard at all times, managing the daily running of the kitchen, whilst keeping the fridges clean and organized, and food labelled and rotated as well as ordering stock and handlingdeliveries.

This position is for day shifts only, however weekend work will be required, so flexibility is a must.

Hours 7.30am - 4pm 5 days a week
