    My client are a well-known Retail business with a large presence throughout the UK and internationally.

    They are currently going through a range of initiatives to designed to improve the technology landscape, optimise business process, and to improve customer experience.

    As such, the client are looking to bring in a Payments Technical Lead to support on two such projects related to payments.

    The ideal candidate will be experienced in working on payments projects within a retail setting.

    connectivity of PED's & removal of connectivity coding from POS
    with PM & relevant parties to determine appropriate network standards design, considering:
    with Global Teams to identify options to move PED controls from POS to Server
    PED software release windows & policy with Payment Service Provider(s), to ensure protection of busy trading periods,
    protection of OLA traffic during PED software update downloads,
    business emergency software deployment processes,
    with PM to plan migration to new network design.
    with PM to produce technical aspects of RFP for in store cabling & network change deployment.
    with PM to produce technical details required to deploy PED network/POS changes across the estate.
    with Cashless BA to ensure all deployment & support transition documentation is in place.
