Position Description:

Contract Scotland has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join our client's site based in Falkirk. This is temporary 6-month contract with an ASAP start.

This is fast paced role and requires someone with a working knowledge of document control. You will be an organised individual and will be confident at delivering in this role.


Main tasks include:

  • Controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams, projects or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  • Allocating and controlling the document numbering system for the project work
  • Working with precision to ensure that all electronic and hard copy filing is accurate and is easily retrievable
  • Responding in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, information searches and general requests for support from project/department personnel
  • Acquires sufficient knowledge and understanding of the business to implement and develop an effective document handling system in line with company policy
  • Administration of PIRS document system
  • Receiving all site deliveries
  • Keeping the Site Manager or deputy informed of all site related activities

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£13.00-£16.50 per hour
