    About the team

    The Performance and Intelligence team is part of the unit focusing on Quality, Practice, Relationships, and Support within the Children, Families, and Lifelong Learning Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Performance for Children's Social Care and Youth Justice, the team consists of various specialists. Collaborating closely with education and commissioning teams, our goal is to enhance outcomes for children. We offer support, challenge, and a comprehensive performance profile with data and reporting tools.

    About the role

    As a performance officer, you'll ensure frontline service teams have the necessary information to sustain and enhance their practices. This involves regular reporting and meetings with service members, as well as creating new data visualizations to aid performance monitoring.

    Shortlisting criteria

    • Understanding of children's social care and related data
    • Data analysis skills
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management
    • Experience with senior managers and Ofsted inspections
    • Knowledge of Tableau and/or Liquid Logic's system C (formerly LCS) is advantageous
