    Description
    We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual, who has interest in gaining experience in working in forensic settings.

    The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a keen interest in working with people with complex mental health needs and forensic histories as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

    The post holder will support the qualified psychologists at The Priory Hospital Enfield in the provision of psychology services.


    This will include:
    # Contributing to psychological assessment and psychological interventions under supervision of a qualified psychologist
    # Undertaking clinically relevant audits
    # Collaborating on agreed research projects
    # Devising and undertaking teaching and training of staff

    This is not an exclusive list but comprises examples of the type of work expected to be undertaken.

    In order to meet professional requirements, a qualified psychologist must oversee all work undertaken with patients, but the post holder will agree with their supervisor the extent to which they will carry out these duties working independently on a day-to-day level.

    Candidates will have completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and preferably would hold a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject area.
