Senior Consultant

What you'll be doing:

We have great opportunities for passionate procurement professionals looking to move to a more exciting position with a clear career path.

Engagements will include working across amazing clients and geographic locations and duration of specific engagements will vary.

The nature of each assignment will be dependent on the contractual requirements but may include:

Supporting Opportunity Assessment, Savings Delivery, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contract and Supplier Relationship Management, Transformation Activities and Project Management.

What we're looking for:

Demonstrates experience of delivering procurement projects with some strategy development and supporting category management in the government sector, ideally transport and/or defence sector.

Experience of developing relationships and working with stakeholders and suppliers. Demonstrates track record in supplier selection, negotiation, implementation and complex contract management delivering cost/ savings targets.

Some experience working in a complex and changing environment with demanding business objectives.

Has knowledge of sourcing across indirect categories and industry sectors.

Experience in working in matrix structures would be advantageous.

Experience in project management

Qualifications:
Degree educated or equivalent

Proficiency with Excel.

The role might include travel and therefore will require an individual with flexibility to work across multiple locations and be on client site/Capita offices a minimum of four days a week.

A big majority of our clients are based in and around London.
