Description

Vysus Group, a leading provider of high-value risk management services, is seeking a principal consultant to join our UK team as part of our growing global organisation.

Our core expertise is in the management of major accident hazards - particularly in the Oil & Gas and onshore process sectors.

In response to the energy transition, we are also increasingly working with clients in the Renewables/power industries. Successful applicants will provide support to a range of clients and sectors both within the UK and internationally.

The role:

Your main responsibilities will include:

Preparation of proposals, submissions and tenders
Developing and maintaining relationships with new or existing clients
Monitoring and management of safety studies
Compilation of comprehensive, well written client reports

Typical technical tasks include:

Facilitation of qualitative risk analysis workshops (for example, HAZID)
Consequence modelling (PHAST / SAFETI etc)
Fire safety analyses
Quantitative risk analysis (QRA)
Development of safety cases (on and/or offshore)

Experience in the following areas would also be advantageous:

Facilitation of HAZOP workshops
SIL Studies (determination, verification, FSAs, etc)

Our requirements:

A degree or a higherlevel qualification in engineering, maths or science
Demonstrable experience in the field of risk management consultancy and technical safety (onshore and/or offshore), including management of project deliverables, budgets and client relationships
A minimum of 10 years in a relevant industry
Strong spoken and written English language skills
Strong Excel skills
