Intertek's Caleb Brett UK business provides quality and quantity measurement, inspection, and laboratory testing services to the global oil, gas, petrochemical, petroleum refining & distribution, natural gas, biofuels, marine, and chemicals industries.

Due to continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Analyst to carry out preparation and testing on submitted samples.

Testing a variety of petroleum products to ASTM and IP test methods
Preparing and testing sample blends as requested by customers
To prepare and test quality control samples, to standardise reagents and solutions and to calibrate equipment as needed for the testing process
Receive and log in samples for testing on the required systems
Petroleum laboratory environment experience preferred but not essential
Good knowledge of chemistry, with A level qualifications or above and preferable experience in analytical instrumentation
Ability to follow standard operating procedures, in accordance with company policies and established methodologies
