    Prescot Drive is a short term breaks home offering accommodation to young people with severe learning difficulties, Autistic spectrum disorder and complex physical Disabilities.

    Some of whom will have associated medical needs.
    The home provide short breaks for 8 years of age up to their 18th birthday. The objective of the breaks is to provide an enjoyable, stimulating and fun experiences for children and young people. Whilst also affording their parents/ carers a break.

    As a Residential Worker supporting young people and children to access a variety of activities, promoting independence, learning and engaging in positive activities.

    If you have the skills that will enable us to continue to enhance our practice and improve outcomes for children and young people then this is the job for you.

    We are looking for passionate, energetic, and caring residential workers to join our short breaks team.

    You will support the residential staff with the young people and children on their short term breaks to provide a positive living and learning environment for young people who access the service.

    As a Residential Worker you will need to have:
    A DBS with Children and AdultsGood Communication skills.
    Ideally a qualification in health and social care level 3 or working towardsA positive, kind compassionate nature.
    A confident assured approach and remain calm in potentially difficult situations.
    Flexibility and hours available to work as and when which are mainly evenings, nights, weekends and school holidays.
    Experience with working Children and young people.
