Maintenance Administrator / Helpdesk Coordinator required for a well-established business in Cambridge.


Working in a busy but relaxed office, this role offers free onisite parking, dress down Fridays and a range of employee benefits.

Working within the Maintenance team to provide support, including to the project managers across a number of areas


Duties will include:

  • Providing general administration duties, such as answering the telephones, logging client callouts and liaising with property managers.
  • Assist in allocation of engineer's workloads and distubution of callouts.
  • Providing support in the administering and updating of the Maintenance data base.
  • Providing support in administering engineers time sheets.
  • Providing support to the projects managers in collating information for maintenance proposals, requests for information tenders and quotations.
  • Loading of purchase invoices onto accounts system.
  • Assist engineers with ordering of spare parts.
  • Preparation of sales invoices.
  • Administer the maintenance teams aged debtors and credit control activities.
  • Supporting and administrating Subcontract maintenance visits and collating service reports.
  • Respond appropriately to unplanned requests for support, advice and guidance, establishing priorities that ensure objectives are met.
  • Gather information from a range of sources, analyse information and identify problems and issues, and make effective decisions to take appropriate timely actions.
  • Identifying when escalation is necessary and informing appropriate manager.
  • Build, manage and maintain strong relationships and communicate effectively within the business and work in partnership with other team members.
  • Other undefined support requirements appropriate to the skillsets of the individual.

  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook & Excel
  • To manage and prioritise own workload

In return, my client will be offering a salary of up to £25,000 with 25 days holiday (which increases), private medical insurance and other employee benefits.
