    Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Director to join the team.

    Our client is a £15M t/o organisation who manufacture and supply a variety of mechanical products, servicing a range of sectors including aerospace and the wider industrial space. With over 100 years of rich history, they are known for their dedication to innovation and ability to adapt to the needs of their client. They have ambitious plans to double the size of the business within the next 3 years, whilst developing an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture within the business. As such they are looking to bring on board a Business Development Director, who will join their bold Senior Leadership Team and contribute to the wider business strategy. Business Development Director – The Role:
    As the Business Development Director, you will hold a pivotal role in steering the company towards its future growth. You will be an integral member of the newly formed senior leadership team, giving you autonomy and responsibility over the entire sales and business development function. You will be able to implement innovative processes and structures to effectively generate revenue to support and align with the company's ambitions. Business Development Director – Key Responsibilities:
    - Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
    - Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
    - Build & maintain strong and long lasting customer relationships
    - Lead and manage the sales team, focussing on individual and team development in order to drive success Business Development Director – You:
    - At least 5 years experience in a senior sales/business development role within a manufacturing business
    - Experience in managing a team including performance reviews, team structure and recruitment
    - Demonstrate strategic thinking and strong business insight
