- Processing monthly and weekly client payroll for over 100 clients
- Managing all new starters and leavers
- Handling SSP and SWP calculations and recording
- Processing HMRC submissions including P45, P60's, and P11D's
- Staying up-to-date with legislation changes
- Administering auto-enrolment pension schemes
- Dealing with client and HMRC queries and escalating ongoing issues
- Managing the Construction Industry Scheme for relevant clients, including subcontractor verifications, CIS300 submissions, and monthly statement creation
- Excellent working knowledge of end-to-end payroll
- Experience with the Construction Industry Scheme (essential)
- Previous experience in a firm of accountants (essential)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in payroll software, preferably BrightPay and Employment Hero
- 22 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), increasing by one day for every full year of service, capped at 25 days.
