Manufacturing Engineer / Yeovil / £29.10 per hour PAYE

As a Manufacturing Engineer specialising in Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless production of aircraft components and systems.

Based at our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence organisation in Yeovil, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Create detailed Manufacturing Bills of Material (BOM) and Technical Support Documentation (TSD).
# Develop and maintain Work Instructions to support production schedules.
# Lead process design changes and integrate them into assembly processes.
# Act as a liaison with suppliers and provide support on manufacturing issues.
# Provide data for impact analysis on change introduction and ease of manufacture assessments.
# Provide production time estimates for capacity planning and cost estimating.
# Mechanical Engineering background with relevant qualifications.
Proficiency in creating work instructions and engineering data.
Extensive aerospace manufacturing experience.
Familiarity with SAP or similar production management systems preferred.
This is a one year temporary contract with the potential to extend. Site based in Yeovil, 37 hours per week, flex, Monday to Friday.
