    L&D and Systems Manager – Billericay

    £40-65k plus bonus/benefits

    The Company

    My client is an established specialist agency in the Tech market. With multiple offices globally, they are on their next growth journey and with this comes the need to invest into their L&D function. A great opportunity for anyone who loves building something from the ground up in a thriving environment.

    The primary focus of this role is to own the L&D function, taking full accountability for creating, aligning and delivering training to support the businesses strategic aims, to see a positive ROI and underpin a high performance culture. This role will also lead the IT function and any applications/software that the business uses to enhance its ability to perform at its best.

    Exciting Bits

    • First L&D hire and opportunity to build a team/own wider functions
    • Own the entire L&D function with license to make decisions with full support from the board
    • Direct report into the CEO and CFO

    The Role

    As L&D Manager, you will:

    • Introduce process, structure, strategy and a common reporting/KPI setup to be used business wide.
    • Develop programmes to cover learning at all levels, including academies, experienced recruiters and those new to management.
    • Be instrumental in building a culture and common ground for the business to adopt from the top down.
    • Run all training and coaching, including but not limited to classroom coaching, desk side, 121 support and lunch & learns/extra-curricular.
    • Support the business with a future hiring approach and have the potential to influence their tech approach and what platforms they will use to enhance recruiters abilities to succeed in their role.
    • Work with the senior management team to identify skills gaps and develop skills-based assessments to help create a level playing field in the business.

    What we are looking for

    • Recruitment experience essential
    • Experience creating and growing an L&D function from the ground up.
    • An experienced, trainer, coach, mentor and adept at multiple learning techniques.

    Please note that candidates without the prerequisite L&D experience (gained within the recruitment sector), will not be considered for the role.
