    Role Overview

    Rapidly growing insurance company is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join the Risk and Compliance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting quality assurance audits across several departments to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, licensing requirements, and internal policies. You will also take the lead in identifying areas for improvement to ensure the company maintains top-notch regulatory compliance and service quality.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform Quality Assurance Audits in the Underwriting Services Department to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and licensing authorities.
    • Conduct audits in other departments to assess service quality and adherence to internal processes.
    • Review audit results to confirm compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with business units to identify and implement corrective measures where necessary.
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in the insurance industry, although candidates from broader financial services backgrounds will also be considered.
    • Strong knowledge of FCA rules and regulations.
    • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
    • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    • A willingness to act as a role model and advocate for compliance.
    • A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
