Description

You will be responsible for answering incoming calls from patients, other staff, which will entail answering enquiries, handling complaints, troubleshooting problems and provide information.


You will also be responsible for providing an appointment booking service to enable patients to cancel and rebook future appointments whilst providing a confidential, efficient patient-friendly contact service.

Integral to the role with be the maintaining of the clinic administration functions on Patient Centre.


You will interact with the General Public, Nursing, Medical staff and other Trust Administrative and Clerical Staff and ensure all processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an efficient and quality service to all users.

You will possess RSA Level 2 or equivalent and have experience of working in a confidential environment. Good general education with exam results in GCSE English and Arithmetic.

An NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Customer Care, and a Patient Administration background would be highly desirable.

Appropriate training will be provided but IT skills linked with good keyboard skills would be a distinct advantage along with an excellent telephone manner.

You must be adaptable

The Call Centre opening hours are 8:55am to 17.15pm Monday to Friday.
