Working in the West Midlands as a Transport Supervisor on a day shift Monday-Friday working pattern, managing a team of drivers and ensuring customer's standards are met on a daily basis.

Description

The role of Transport Supervisor will involve:

  • Managing the drivers.
  • Conducting absence reviews and disciplinary.
  • Ensure the drivers are compliant.
  • Oversee the routes planned.
  • Resolve any conflict within the transport division.
  • Improve and maintain SLAs standards.
  • Customer service.

Profile

The successful Transport Supervisor will have:

  • Experience managing a large number of drivers.
  • Previously conducted disciplinaries and returntoworks.
  • Strong understanding of transport compliance.
  • Knowledge of drivers hours.
  • Fleet maintenance experience.
  • Some transport planning experience.
  • A customer service/SLA focus.
  • Previous experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
