We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Writer to join our expanding team.

This is a fantastic role, working with on a team that partners with a growing portfolio of leading, biopharma clients across rare disease, oncology, and infectious disease therapeutic areas.

Medical content development encompasses a range of deliverables including strategy/ planning, conferences, advisory boards, interactive content, and publications. The team has established excellent client relationships and has become trusted delivery and innovation partners across their core accounts.


As a Medical Writer you will be responsible for building and maintaining scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic areas, supporting delivery for a multi-disciplinary team that includes creative, digital, client services, medical analytics, editorial, and health economics outcome research.

Core deliverable tasks include researching and developing technical materials, ensuring that all outputs adhere to written brief, are accurate in content and editorial style and can be referenced.

You will also be responsible for liaising with clients and key opinion leaders on content development and attend scientific meetings as required.


  • Previous experience of working in a Medical Writing role, within a medical communications agency environment.
  • An academic background in the life sciences (preference for terminal degree in life sciences or healthcare field)
  • Experience of writing across a broad range of scientific deliverables e.g. publications, training materials, slide sets, interactive content, conference booths, competitive intelligence, etc. for a variety of medical audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills with experience of reviewing materials for style/consistency, scientific accuracy, proofreading, layout, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, time management and organisational skills.
  • A passion for working in a strong team environment, with the ability to work both collaboratively within a team as well as independently on core tasks and medical deliverables.
  • Excellent relationship building/management skills; demonstrable experience of working directly with clients to ensure strategic marketing and medical needs are met would be valued in this role but is not required if this is a key area of career interest.
  • Strong IT skills including Word and PowerPoint.
