    Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive business growth in the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable energy solutions and a proven track record in sales and business development, particularly within the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and driving sales of our solar, EV charging, air source heat pumps, and smart lighting solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitors in the Bristol area.
    • Analyze market data to identify opportunities for business growth and develop targeted sales strategies.

    Lead Generation and Prospecting:

    • Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, cold calling, email campaigns, and digital marketing efforts.
    • Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities based on potential for business growth and alignment with company objectives.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries, including residential, commercial, and government sectors.
    • Understand clients' energy needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions and value-added services.

    Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets for solar energy systems, EV charging infrastructure, air source heat pumps, and smart lighting solutions.
    • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients, outlining the benefits and ROI of our products and services.

    Project Coordination and Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, installation, and customer support, to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to promote new products and identify opportunities for product enhancements based on customer feedback.

    Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

    • Stay abreast of developments in the renewable energy sector, including advancements in solar technology, electric vehicles, energy storage, and smart grid solutions.
    • Attend industry conferences, seminars, and training sessions to expand knowledge and skills relevant to the role.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
    • Proven track record in sales and business development, with at least [X] years of experience in the renewable energy industry.
