Helix Offshore Crewing Services Ltd is currently recruiting for the above position to work both onshore and offshore, supporting and assisting in the operation, maintenance and preservation of Hoisting, compensation, PCE, hydraulic and lifting equipment both on and offshore including:- Hydraulic winches and associated equipment
- Compensated lifting equipment & Electric Hydraulic Power Unit
- Riser and Riserless Intervention systems and components
This position will primarily be based onshore Aberdeen and offshore UK North Sea region, with the possibility of assignments to other Helix locations worldwide.
Onshore:
- Supervise, prepare, test, maintain, repair & preserve a range of compensation, lifting systems and as applicable Intervention systems and associated assets for mobilisation, maintenance, or demob periods as required and in line with planned maintenance system and OEM requirements
Offshore:
- Supervise, install, commission, operate, test, maintain & repair a range of compensation, lifting systems and as applicable Intervention systems and associated assets as required
- Work with and support deck crew as required during mobilisation and operational periods
- Continually follow and where possible improve operational procedures and equipment.
- Attend and contribute toward onshore and offshore Risk Assessments where required.
General:
- Prepare and/or input to daily or weekly reports as required
- Actively participate in the development and training of Technician and Trainee Technician roles within the Group.
- Be available for work as and when required when given appropriate notice of requirement, this will include traveling to various Helix sites and 3rd party vendors premises.
- Supervisory experience coupled with extensive experience of hydraulic and lifting equipment, to enable it to be operated in a safe and efficient manner.
