We are looking for a Year 1teacher in Sandy from September 2024 This is an opportunity towork within a Good primary school in Sandy Bedfordshire. The schoolis looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching anacademic yet creative topicbased curriculum in a school withexceptional pastoralcare.

Responsibilities of a Year 1teacher:

Plan and deliverengaging and effective classes to Year 1 students based on theNational Curriculum.

Provide ongoing feedbackand support to Year 1 students to encourage growth anddevelopment.

Create a safe and organizedclassroom environment conducive to learning.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share bestpractices.

Use data to inform teaching decisionsand adapt instruction to meet the needs of alllearners.

Communicate regularly with parents andcaregivers to provide updates on Year 1 studentprogress.

Attend and contribute to staffmeetings and professional developmentopportunities.
