My client is a client payroll accountant in Manchester Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and progressive business and really own a payroll department. Our client is looking for a Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to Partners, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payroll, growth and strategic development.

Man management

• Training
• Ability to assist on hands on payroll and picking up some clients
• Using Iris payroll product
• Performance reviews
• Helping and supporting the team/ technical guidance
• Growing the Payroll department

Previous experience processing client payroll at a high volume ideally working within a bureau environment.

• Need to be up to date on legislation and pension's knowledge preferable.
• Good knowledge of payroll legislation
• Good systems skills including MS Excel
