Overview - People Coordinator - 6 Month FTC - Leicester Based
The People Coordinator is responsible for the HR administration process and the HR Information System across the Company, acting as the initial point of contact for employee queries and coordinating all people movement and transfers, liaising with payrolland IT for the effective administration of people changes.
Responsibilities
- Management of People Team projects such as Right to Work audit, scanning of files and supporting large change projects from an administrative point of view.
- Supporting Talent Acquisition and L&D as required with increased workload generated by the acquisition.
- Maintain the HR Information System, including day-to-day management ensuring that it is up to date and accurate.
- Ensure all employee files are scanned and up to date with relevant documents.
- Issue terms & conditions and associated documentation.
- Act as first point of contact for all employee documentation including new starter forms and flagging any medical issues to the relevant People Partner from the medical questionnaire.
- Provide administrative support to People Partners, L&D, Comp & Bens and D&I teams as required.
- Liaise with relevant departments to on and off board employees.
- Management of the global HR data base.
- Provide employees and managers with information relating to leave, holiday, maternity, paternity, parental leave etc.
- Liaise with relevant teams to provide people data.
- Respond to change of details for employees and confirming in writing as required
- Respond to general queries in a timely manner.
- Draft letters and correspondence as required.
- Support the coordination of employee benefits and employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain employee records and any other sensitive data or information in the People Department in accordance with data protection, and confidentiality in line with Data Protection Act.
- Provide reporting of people data to the People Partners, D&I Manager and L&D Manager on a regular basis or as and when required.
- Support HR life cycle activities.
- Conduct exit interviews and new starter reviews.
