We are keen to employ a diverse workforce that reflects the people of Scotland. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and particularly from groups currently under-represented, including people with disabilities, those from minority ethnic communities or from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pupil support worker to join our successful, dynamic and expanding school team within Winchburgh Primary School and Early Learning Centre. The school is a non-denominational primary with a rising school roll, currently standing at primary children and children in our early learning centre. The school benefits from a diverse catchment area with a Free Meal Entitlement of around 9%.

Winchburgh is a expanding community due to significant house building in the area. We work in close partnership with the newly open Winchburgh Academy and our primary partners at Holy Family Primary School. Pupils in the upper years of primary regularly undertake learning at the newly opened Sports & Wellbeing Hub and within the Winchburgh Academy building – this is building unique and strong links to support the growing community and the overall transition experiences for learners.
