    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design and create low-power, high-voltage power supply products/systems
    • Collaborate with clients to define specifications and implement design solutions within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
    • Lead product development from concept to production release.
    • Address challenges related to design, field performance, reliability, and test yields, and apply corrective measures to ensure success in customer applications.
    • Ensure product/system functionality in customer applications and take corrective actions when necessary.
    • Follow key engineering protocols like the Product Development Process and ECO process.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and engineering technicians.
    • Conduct testing and debugging of new design hardware.
    • Collaborate with the CAD team on PCB layout and mechanical design tasks.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5 years minimum experience in an electronics development environment.
    • Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
    • Understanding of power semiconductors BJT, MOSFET, SiC, GaN etc.
    • Gate drive circuits, snubber circuits
    • Magnetics design, transformers, inductors
    • Good understanding of power supply topologies, buck, boost, flyback, selfoscillating, resonant etc.
    • Good understanding of analog electronics, OP-AMP circuits etc.
    • Ability to analyse and stabilise a power supply control loop.
