- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive threat intelligence program to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber threats targeting our organization.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including government agencies, law enforcement, industry groups, and threat intelligence vendors, to gather and share actionable intelligence.
- Monitor and analyze cyber threat trends, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to detect and disrupt potential threats before they impact our organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including SOC analysts, incident responders, and IT teams, to integrate threat intelligence into security operations and incident response workflows.
- Develop and deliver threat intelligence briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity developments, threat landscape trends, and intelligence methodologies to continuously improve our threat intelligence capabilities.
- Mentor and coach junior analysts to enhance their skills in threat analysis, intelligence gathering, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Intelligence Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in threat intelligence analysis, with a background in defense, intelligence, or cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of cyber threat actors, their motivations, and TTPs, particularly in the context of the defense sector.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms, tools, and techniques for intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination.
- Familiarity with industry-standard threat intelligence frameworks and standards, such as MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII, and CTI.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in complex datasets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional initiatives to address cyber threats effectively.
