We are working with Swindon Council to recruit a Schools Social Worker.


Swindon Borough Council now have an opportunity for an Experienced Social Worker to join the Social Worker in Schools Team as part of a Schools Project, working with the Department for Education who are piloting the programme.

You will be based within aSchool setting, supporting designated safeguarding leads, and educational and pastoral colleagues in safeguarding children and young people.

This is an innovative programme partnering closely with schools, Swindon Borough Council rated as good in its latestOfsted Inspection in 2019, is proud to be one of only 20 Local Authorities in the Country to be able to take part in this initiative.

The project will offer skilled Social Workers the opportunity to gain valuable and unique experience and skills and work ina role which will shape future services and make a real impact on the lives of young people and families across the town.
