    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Energy Reduction Specialist Engineer (CO2, Energy Reduction and Sustainability) to join the Building Services Maintenance team at a site in Telford.

    We are looking for an individual to operate as the technical /maintenance specialist managing maintenance activities, engineers and the CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) to provide specialist knowledge in energy management, IoT/connected systems and Building Services equipment
    Energy Reduction Specialist Engineer (CO2, Energy Reduction and Sustainability) in Building Services
    Co-ordinate and control all aspects of water/energy reduction and utilities monitoring initiatives.

    This includes research of low carbon technologies, detailed project evaluation, planning, budget submission, spend justification and authorisation, risk assessments, scheduling and implementation of all related activities required to achieve CO2 reduction targets.

    To take responsibility for activities and associated risks.

    To lead new equipment installations, establishing and implementing performance monitoring and preventative maintenance activities as well as delivering training for all relevant persons as required.

    Manage internal & external resources to deliver mechanical and electrical installations in accordance with all relevant regulations.
    To own the CMMS structure to ensure the energy related asset structure is up to date and maintained.

    Actively contribute to company Continuous Improvement activities including the Production Way System, Kaizen, applying 5S standards in all areas, and ensure all work is compliant with Health and Safety standards and risk assessments.

    Building Services experience

    You will have 8 years proven ability working at a high performance level in a high-volume automated manufacturing environment.

    You will have experience in the delivery of new & replacement infrastructure projects, as well as proven experience in the field of environmental engineering.

    You will hold a HNC in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), with City & Guilds 2800 Level 3 or equivalent (Maintenance Engineering), and City & Guilds 2382 – IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulation.

    An environmental/energy engineering & management qualification is also required.
