£70,000 + Bonus

Why would I want to work here.
The role is reporting into the Financial Director. The business T/O is £13million and they have a large conversation rate of enquiries to sales. Great work ethic, down to earth, relaxed atmosphere. Parking on site. Quarterly bonus and individual personalperformance bonus.
Working with a small team this is a chance to develop your team and improve processes. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm.

You will have the flexibility to work 1 day a week from home, the other 4 days will be based in Walsall.


The essence of the role
Manage a team of 5 including 2 Credit Controllers, Management Accountant, Accounts Assistant and Purchase Ledger Clerk.


The scope of the role

  • Manage a team of
  • Manage all Accounts Department processes
  • Reconciling supplier accounts to third party statements
  • Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss management
  • Statutory Accounts and other statutory reporting, including VAT returns.
  • Monthly Management Accounts and Variance analysis.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting and Cash Flows
  • Fixed Asset investment and Payback calculations

Prerequisites

  • Must be CIMA Qualified
  • Happy to be on site 4 days a week.
  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller and managed a small team
