    Our client, a highly esteemed accountancy practice based in Bexhill, is currently seeking an Audit Assistant/ Semi-Senior to join their dynamic team.

    Responsibilities:
    Assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements for a range of clients
    Conducting fieldwork, including testing of controls, substantive testing, and analytical review procedures
    Preparing audit working papers and draft financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
    Collaborating effectively with audit team members and clients to ensure efficient and accurate completion of engagements
    Identifying and communicating audit findings, risks, and recommendations to management
    Contributing to the continuous improvement of audit processes and procedures
    Providing support and guidance to junior team members as needed

    Requirements


    Qualifications and Skills:
    Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
    Previous experience in audit engagements within an accountancy practice environment
    Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards (UK GAAP, FRS, and IFRS)
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
    Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
    Commitment to professional development and continuous learning

    Benefits

    £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
