Key Skills/ requirements

• Required: Unix, Powerbreaker, VMS, Containerization, Docker, SQL/No SQL
• Desirable: Jenkins, Openshift, GIT, Restful API
• Co-ordinate and support self-service deployments to the pre-production environments and facilitate deployments from external teams on multi-platform systems.
• Diagnosis and resolution of non-functional defects found during test phases and apply identified continuous improvements to drive efficiencies.
• Perform timely upgrades of environments and remediations to an agreed schedule.
• Identify and apply automation opportunities to speed up deployments whilst eliminating risks.
• Able to clearly communicate plans and status to all levels within the organisation and take technical leadership during problem situations.
• Preserve and enhance the knowledge base of Release Management activities including version control for all Application and Infrastructure documentation.
• Co-ordinate the test and development teams when using CI/CD.
