About You
Are you a self-motivated and organised individual as well as being someone who is a naturally confident and articulate communicator? Do you have a desire and willingness to learn and an ability to provide practical solutions to influence change? If so, we have great opportunity for you to join our talented Health, Safety and Environment Department as a HS&E Advisor.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
You will need to be tenacious, adaptable, professional and above all a team player and will hold a full UK Driving Licence to fulfil the requirements of travel for this role.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of HS&E you will play a crucial role in supporting the Southern division team.
You will be responsible for delivering professional in-house Health, Safety and Environment services predominantly covering sites in the Devon and extending to sites in the South West.
You will be supporting and promoting a positive and collaborative approach to health, safety and environment activities ensuring the Company complies and adheres to all current legislation, policies, and procedures.

Your Attributes
You will have:
- An understanding of construction and / or health and safety are an advantage.
- A NEBOSH Certificate (or working towards).
- Good IT skills and attention to detail.
- A CSCS Card and member of IOSH (any level).
- A full UK Driving Licence.
You will bring:
- Selfmotivated with effective organisation skills.
- Strong communication skills with a positive can do attitude.
- The ability to develop relationships and trust.
- A willingness and desire to learn, engage effectively with all levels across the organisation, be flexible, and an ability to provide practical solutions and to influence change.
- Seek Continual Professional Development, and maintain knowledge of all current legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
