- Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required. All Cleveland Metroparks employees must be prepared to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
- Meets customer needs by selling merchandise and/or renting equipment. Provides quality customer service and ensures accurate point of sale transactions.
- Accurately performs store opening and closing procedures.
- Assists with merchandise display and replenishment of inventory including day-to-day maintenance, set up and tear down of retail equipment and lifting and moving boxes up to 40 lbs.
- Adheres to Cleveland Metroparks Accounting Manual which provides policies and procedures for money/funds handling and deposits
- Performs general housekeeping duties including but not limited to dusting, mopping, and maintaining a clean store
- Keeps manager informed of financial, customer and informational needs, i.e. inventory, sales or customer concerns/complaints
- Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns.
- Carries out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, co-workers and public. Responds to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel.
