About the roleOur Financial Crime Education team perform a wide range of tasks including educating our members, our staff and the communities we serve, as well as maintaining relationships with suppliers


The key responsibilities for a Financial Crime Specialist - Education & Relationships include representing Coventry Building Society at Industry-Led forums and ensuring that the ever evolving Fraud & Scams landscape is reflected in the educational material we use.


Establishing, designing, implementing and delivering structured education programmes, including production and maintenance of LMS modules, relevant Society-led and Industry-Led campaigns, fraud Intel sharing, corporate induction programmes and marketing & educational material will be key parts of the role.


The role includes supporting in the management of the Financial Crime relationships with suppliers and key business partners, ensuring service satisfaction and development of new initiatives.

This will be achieved through regular contact with partners in the form of personal visits; CBS site visits; telephone contact and presentations.

Producing MI as well as providing ongoing support across the full range of activities carried out in the greater team, will also be expected.


  • About youFor this role you'll already have financial crime experience in a customer focused environment. Experience of working in financial services would be advantageous.


You'll already be a strong relationship builder at all levels, with compelling communication skills to persuade and influence your audience.

Being able to create engaging, educational content and present confidently to others will be key requirements.

You'll need to plan and organise your time and workloads effectively as well as being confident around data.

In this role you'll be responsible for your own diary, where you need to be and when.

So considering the geographical spread of our branches and customers you'll need a full driving licence and the ability travel regularly.
