Shorterm Group are currently assisting one of our high profile Engineering clients based.

They are a Field Service Engineer based around St Ives' surrounding areas to join their team due to increased workload.

There is a brief outline on what will be expected of you below, but the business itself is working with their various clients across the country on their gasification and anaerobic digestion sites.

The role is home based and UK & Offshore travel will play a part in this position. Overnight stays and weekend work will be expected but that will be reflected with various uplifts in pay rates.

Main Duties:

  • Undertake system calibration, repair and maintenance activities on clients sites, addressing any concerns arising throughout the process.
  • Communicate and provide technical support to the clients to address their specific issues.
  • Provide technical support to Installation Technicians and Service Engineers to address inhouse issues.
  • Be a part of an on call rota which is 1 in 3 (reducing in frequency as the engineering team expands further)

Essentials Skills:

  • A background in gasification, gas metering, gas chromatography, biomethane, odourisation is key.

Salary Details:
£30,000 - £57,500
Door to door payments on top are paid at a flat rate.
Weekend and Bank Holiday rates are 1.5x and 2x.
Offshore - various daily fixed rate uplifts ranging from £250 - £700 per day.
Company vehicle will be provided and all fuel will be reimbursed through and expense form for business journeys.
