    Strip Fitter

    Location:
    Thurleigh


    Shift Patterns:
    Monday-Friday

    Hours: 6am – 4:30pm

    PAYE Rate:
    Paying up to £16 p/h depending on performance in skills test
    Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for Strip Fitters in Thurleigh.

    The role offers drivers an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading automotive companies who have operations across the country.


    The Role:
    As a Strip Fitter, you will be working on but not limited to:

    • Stripping down vehicles ready for panel repair, prepping and painting.
    • Removing all electrical and mechanical trim.
    • Re-fitting all trim after painting ready for the vehicle to be polished.
    • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety obligations at all times.
    What kind of person we are looking for?

    • Previous experience within a similar role is essential.
    • You will need to work efficiently but to a high standard.
    • Hold a full, category B driving license, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
    • Organisational skills.
    • Must be able to work well within a team
