Role Overview You will be responsible for performing and organising software testing within the Scrum team.You will be able to investigate software defects, debug software of major scale and complexity and provide any required support to the team regarding testing and QA.
The developers in our team are responsible for the creation of innovative solutions for worldwide clients, working independently and as part of larger teams.
The systems deployed typically utilise core sub-systems and products from the rFpro product portfolio with configuration and project specific developments.
What will you be doing?Work as part of one of our Scrum teams to deliver new features for our growing list of customers
Conduct sprint testing, automation testing, and customer-facing acceptance testing covering desktop-based and cloud hosted solutions
Work on complex real-time simulation software consisting of C++, C#, Matlab and Python code
What are we looking for?
Technical skills to develop and implement automated tests, creating and maintaining a suite of regression tests
Knowledge of common software engineering tools such as SVN, Git, Jira and Confluence
Experience of testing high-performance networked desktop applications on both Windows and Linux
Experience of exploratory testing and configuration management
Confident organising software testing within a Scrum team.
Ability to analyse and pinpoint problems using systematic tests and diagnostic logs
Experience with Squish for Qtis desirable
Holding a recognised QA certification such as ISQTB is desirable
