    Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator

    Bright Little Labs is a children's media studio that creates books, games and cartoons with a focus on 21st-century skills (critical thinking, computer science, and creativity) and inclusivity. We received investment from Warner Bros Discovery back in 2018 and we're passionate about the power of storytelling.

    Our Founder and CEO, Sophie Deen ), is a writer, creative, and public speaker with various creative plates spinning at all times. Following the success of our flagship IP, Agent Asha, we're seeking a smart, motivated, and discreet EA to support the CEO across all her ventures, including her personal projects.

    The Role

    This is an extremely varied role, assisting the CEO across all areas of her work - email and diary management, financial admin and operations, social media, customer enquiries, Sophie's speaking engagements and more.

    The role is around 40% EA work, and 60% project support work.

    You'll be a proactive problem-solver, helping to prioritise tasks and navigate creative and business challenges, and working behind the scenes to keep on top of the admin.

    • You're a natural facilitator and helper, always thinking about the big picture and how to add value proactively.
    • You expertly juggle multiple tasks while prioritising effectively
    • You're comfortable learning new software (we use G Suite, Shopify, Motion, Canva, AI tools etc)
    • You have integrity, can be trusted with sensitive information, and can interact easily with a variety of different stakeholders You have initiative, and you're comfortable working on your own and making decisions
    • You're curious and eager to develop your skills and lean into new things
    • You've got excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Bonus points if you're passionate about our mission
