OVERVIEW


Powered By CAN are looking for a innovative and passionate coordinator to play a crucial role in designing and delivering exceptional educational and enrichment opportunities for children, young people and young adults.

This involves initiatives that empower and engage children and young people across the Black Country and surrounding areas through Volunteering, Social Actions, and Youth Voice.

This role requires an individual with knowledge of sector strategy, exceptional relationship management skills and commercial acumen to support our plans towards high quality delivery and sustainability of our services.


PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS

  • To design, develop and deliver a wide range of activities, that are suitable for the age, interests, and needs of children, young people and young adults (up to 24yrs).
  • To engage and be empower serviceusers through volunteering and leadership opportunities.
  • To actively recruit young volunteers through various outreach activities andengagement strategies.
  • To support in coordinating and overseeing the daytoday operations of theservice (e.g. Staff, Venues, Resources, Supplies, Equipment, Data
  • Management System, Marketing, Risk assessments) in line withservice/programming requirements.
  • To actively consult and codesign with service users in the planning, delivery and development of activities (e.g.
  • Collectives/Ambassadors/Advisors/Management Board)
  • Actively provide services across multiple settings in the Black Country and surrounding areas.
  • To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children/young people/young adults.
  • To ensure all appropriate health and safety/reporting measures are in place and adhered to on a daily basis that compiles to all required policies and procedures.
