Description
BDS Recruitment are looking for a rent arrears customer service advisor for our client in South Manchester. This will initially be a 12 month contract that could become permanent.

The role will be based form head office 3 days a week and home based for two days per week working flexibly to suit you between 8am and 6pm.

Rate of pay circa £15ph paye plus holiday pay or £19ph umbrella

  • You will be contacting customers regarding tenancy termination to discuss outstanding debts and contact methods
  • Processing payments made towards outstanding debts and setting up direct debits and agreeing repayment plans
  • Instigate any legal action for the recovery of debts when needed
  • Prepare debts for write off/write on in line with our policy and pass over to external debt collections agency
  • Manage credits on accounts to make sure that refunds, transfers, and adjustments are completed in timely manner Rent Arears Officer Will Need:
Experience with working in debt recovery and in a rent environment in social housing would be an advantage.

Salary:
£15.00-£19.00 per hour
