Head of Strategic Change & Governance:

London or Glasgow:

What will you be doing:

Lead and drive the International Banking Business Change agenda, ensuring successful implementation across the business, in line with the Agile ways of working. This includes successful delivery of key initiatives in the pipeline for the International Banking business, including Consumer Duty compliance, De Risking, PBWM commercial opportunities,
Lead improving our broader internal footprint ensuring we are leveraging internal colleagues to grow our client base with a One Barclays approach, including Project Neo (working with BUK on their non UK exit programme)
Manage product launches and roadmaps into International Banking, this includes enhancements to our current and new product suite
Accountable for design and management of plans and resources to deliver agreed goals, identifying and managing assumptions, dependencies, risks and issues and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Drive forward process and system changes and optimisation to drive out further efficiency and cost, providing proactive solutions to blockers that could prevent strategic change
Act as central contact point on behalf of the Business Head in coordinating crossfunction tactical and strategic initiatives and act as business lead for Risk and Regulatory initiatives impacting the business
Ownership of the Governance framework, including relevant committees and fora preparation, running, minuting to ensure BIB's governance is fully aligned to the PBWM Governance frameworks.

What we're looking for:

Experience delivering transformational change, gaining consensus and momentum for change and influencing multiple stakeholders from varied functions when dealing with complexity and ambiguity. Identification of linkage, dependencies and impacts in complex changing environments
Proven ability to lead and manage large direct and indirect teams made up of different resource types including analysts, project managers, technology and business SMEs
Strong communication skills, with experience of working with and presentation to diverse and challenging senior stakeholders at steering committee/MD level
Experience with operating within and setting up Governance frameworks from a build as well as implementation and execution perspective.

Skills that will help you in your role:

Experience in Project Management and Business Management desired
Significant commercial management experience across a number of business disciplines
Confident in understanding PBWM business strategy and ensuring projects are delivering to that strategy
Excellent relationship building and communication skills

Where will you be working:

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.

With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.

Glasgow would also be considered for this role.
