The Role:

Clancy are seeking a Planner, preferably with utilities/construction experience, to assist our Sutton & East Surrey Water framework with all aspects of planning construction works for gangs and surveyors, in order to maximise output, profit and control costs.

Reporting to the Metering Manager you will be responsible for providing key contact for customers when booking metering appointments.

You will maintain accurate and timely logs of all jobs in progress and demonstrate an understanding of all aspects of the Clancy Group activities.

Responsibilities:

Planning and producing work packs for the surveyors
Planning and producing work packs for the gangs
Maintaining good working relationships and close liaison with clients and members of the public
Handling health, safety and environment issues
Using of both inhouse and Client systems
Closing down of completed work
Dealing with customer care issues promptly and efficiently
Ensuring a high standard of work is maintained from the supporting staff

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Significant ability to analyse problems and offer solutions
Demonstrable ability to supervise people and resources to reach the successful completion of the projects
Extensive communication skills
Demonstrable ability to work under pressure
Demonstrable experience of consistently identifying and managing Health and Safety issues to provide a safe place of work for at all times
Demonstrable computer literacy
Experience of working within a team
Relevant industry experience or technical construction knowledge would be highly advantageous
