An established Housing Association is currently looking to recruit a
Risk and Compliance Advisor to work within their professional and dedicated Governance team on a permanent basis.


Location:
Hemel Hempstead with 2 days a week from home


Duration:
Permanent


Hours:35 hours per week


Pay Rate:
£49,758 pa (plus Pension and other benefits)


Main responsibilities of the role:


  • Identify and assess evidence of the associations compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across the business; monitoring and reporting on compliance
  • To maintain and develop the Association's risk management systems and business assurance framework
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of the Association's system of internal controls
  • To make recommendations on changes required to strengthen the Association's internal controls and approach to risk management
  • Provide strategic risk management and compliance advice across all functions of the business
  • Prepare and present reports to managers, committees and the Board

Essential requirements:


  • Excellent knowledge of risk and business assurance processes
  • High level of literacy and ability to write reports
  • Ideally you will have housing sector experience or a similar regulatory environment
  • Experience of working in a busy, demanding and target driven environment
  • Ability to manage a high and varied workload
