    We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Manager within the Marketing and Revenue & Trading teams, focusing on the First Line of Defence (FLOD) with a keen eye on regulatory and risk matters.

    As a Manager within our team, your primary responsibility will be to support the business in effectively managing risk and compliance matters while maintaining a commercial focus.

    You'll collaborate closely with the Compare the Market Second Line Risk & Compliance team and other first-line colleagues to ensure a robust risk management environment.

    This role will be based out of our Peterborough office on a hybrid working basis.
    Provide close support to first-line colleagues in Marketing and Revenue, ensuring effective management of current and emerging risks.


    • Assist the Senior Manager in identifying and addressing new and emerging risks while implementing effective risk management techniques.
    • Offer expert advice and approvals for all marketing activities, adhering to regulatory standards.
    • Support and challenge the business on regulatory and prioritised projects from both regulatory and risk perspectives.
    • Take charge of the first-line annual validation and monitoring plan, collaborating closely with the second line for overall delivery.
    • Identify areas for continuous improvement in the business control environment through assessments, root cause analysis, and targeted deep dives.
    • Work closely with Second Line of Defence (SLOD) to ensure risks align with the risk framework and business area risk appetite.
    • Act as a champion for risk and compliance across the business, fostering a proactive risk management culture.
    • Support the business in third-party management processes and be prepared to deputise for the Senior Manager when needed.
    Proven experience of financial promotions and sign-off.


    • Advanced knowledge of FCA rules, CAP and BCAP Codes (ASA), and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
    • Strong understanding of risk frameworks and their execution within a business context.
