Salary Range:
£25,000 – £30,000 dependent on experience.

Hours:
Monday – Thursday 0700am – 1600hrs or 0800am -1700hrs. Friday 0700am – 11.00am or 0800am – 1200pm

We are excited to be partnering with an organisation who are specialists in the Electronic Engineering field.

Our client is seeking a production operation with strong through-hole soldering experience to join their ever growing and rapidly expanding business.

The Production Operative will work within a production team to assemble, test, rework, and overhaul basic and complex Safety Critical Electronic/Electrical Equipment used in various industries.

The role involves adhering to the company's policies, procedures, and customer specifications.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Assemble, test, rework, overhaul, and inspect Electrical/Electronic equipment to IPC610 standard.
Perform cable assembly to IPC620 standard.
Ensure timely completion of work in accordance with customers' requirements.
Maintain flexibility to work in other departments as needed.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers as necessary.
Provide training and mentoring to other team members, including trainees and apprentices.

Required Qualifications:

Prior experience in Electrical & Electronic Assembly & Rework.
Familiarity with standards such as ISO9001, IPC610/620 & 7711/21.
Proficiency in soldering/desoldering techniques.
Competence in wiring tasks.
Ability to perform self-inspection of work.
Basic computer literacy.
Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency and experience in through-hole soldering techniques
