Barna Shields are currently recruiting for a
Transport Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Southampton. Our client is one of the UK's leading specialists in warehouse services and distribution for the travel retail industry.


The role:


  • Planning routes and deliveries
  • Ensuring vehicles and drivers are legally compliant
  • Monitoring deliveries using GPS
  • Ensuring goods are delivered on time and in a satisfactory condition
  • Working collaboratively to improve the transportation process
  • Perform quality control checks and use internal management systems effectively

About you:


  • Previous transport/logistics experience, able to understand terminology
  • Proactive and able to show initiative
  • Excellent timemanagement, often managing conflicting priorities
  • Good problemsolving skills
  • Motivated to improve and succeed
