We're looking for an experienced and talented Technical Director to take this key position.You will be working alongside our other studio's Technical Director, CTO and the Development Director, and you will be instrumental in the scaling up of the code team at our new Liverpool location.
RequirementsHandling the management of the studio's engineering department staffTeam building - the hiring, mentoring and career development of the studios engineering teamBeing responsible for quality and success of the programming team in the studioSolving technical issues in order to support the engineering department in delivering their project goalsResearching and proposing solutions to improve the technical expertise of the studio and the Climax code teams as a wholeCollaborating with our other discipline directors to provide a clear vision for the studio's games, and help to communicate that vision to the engineering teamSkillsExtensive game development experience in engineering and technical leadership roles, spanning both the technical and creative areas of games productionAdvanced and proven professional C++ programming skills and a thorough knowledge of software design practicesExtensive Unreal experienceExcellent leadership skills - you will have the ability to communicate clearly and get the best out of your teamsA solid background in the production of AAA games with experience shipping console and PC gamesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with good client facing skills.
