Job Description You will provide a Project Engineering function in relation to the introduction of new Infrastructure On Track Plant and Engineering Plant. This includes provision of support to Project Managers in providing project updates, vehicle build, quality audits and factory acceptance tests at supplier premises, manage the testing and commissioning of new Rail Infrastructure Plant and management of on site contractors in relation to any plant specific projects. You will also manage from inception to completion some small-scale plant projects across Major Programmes as required. Essential Criteria ¿ HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.¿ Possess a minimum of 3 years experience post qualification in rail/bus engineering, heavy construction equipment or industrial plant industry.¿ Full driving licence with access to a vehicle. Desirable Criteria ¿ Possess (or have ability to work towards) a HND or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. ¿ Recognised Project Management qualification. ¿ Project Management experience.¿ Experience with AutoCAD or similar.¿ MS Project experience.
